About Simmons Architectural Visuals

Simmons Architectural Visuals is a design visualization studio created for anyone with an idea, space, or project they want to bring to life before it is built. The studio specializes in transforming architectural and design concepts into clear, photorealistic visualizations that help clients confidently understand and develop their projects.

For homeowners, the studio provides a way to visualize new construction, renovations, and outdoor spaces before making final decisions—whether it’s a kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, or landscape design. These visualizations help clarify design direction and reduce uncertainty before committing to construction.

For architects, designers, contractors, and developers, Simmons Architectural Visuals serves as a communication tool that strengthens the connection between concept and client understanding. From quick turnaround renderings to highly detailed, presentation-ready imagery, the studio supports projects at every stage of development. The addition of immersive 360° visuals and walkthroughs further enhances spatial understanding and presentation quality.

Founded by Clemson University graduate Kelsey Simmons, who holds a Bachelor of Architecture and a minor in City Planning and Regional Development, Simmons Architectural Visuals was built from a deep appreciation for design and the architectural process. While studying architecture, it became clear that the traditional path of architectural practice was not the direction she intended to pursue. Instead, she recognized that her passion lay in the world of design visualization.

Kelsey believes that the most effective way designers and clients communicate is through visual representation. Renderings allow ideas, materials, and spatial experiences to be understood long before construction begins. Because of this, creating highly detailed and accurate visuals is essential—ensuring that the design intent is clearly communicated and that everyone involved in a project shares the same vision.

Through Simmons Architectural Visuals, she strives to serve as a bridge between designers, homeowners, and project teams by translating concepts and plans into clear, compelling imagery. By developing visuals tailored to each project, the studio helps bring ideas to life and provides the clarity needed for confident design decisions.

The services offered are designed to support every stage of the design process:

Full Project Visualization combines both interior and exterior work into a cohesive, immersive presentation of an entire design. Developed directly from architectural drawings and plans, this service provides a highly accurate visual representation of the project as a whole. It can also include optional 360° views, offering an interactive experience that allows spaces to be explored from multiple perspectives.

Interior Visualization brings interior spaces to life through accurate, photorealistic renderings that capture lighting, spatial layout, materials, and atmosphere based on architectural plans. This service is used to clearly communicate interior design intent for kitchens, bathrooms, living spaces, and full interior renovations.

Exterior Visualization presents architectural designs within their real-world context, highlighting building form, façade materials, lighting conditions, landscaping, and site integration. These visuals help communicate how a structure will exist within its environment and how design decisions impact overall curb appeal and presence.

Conceptual Design Visualization focuses on early-stage ideas, providing simplified renderings that communicate overall form, lighting, mood, and material direction without locking in final specifications. These visuals are ideal for exploring design possibilities, establishing direction, and helping homeowners or designers understand the potential of a space before committing to detailed decisions.
